Person-specific information (PI) includes race, gender, sex, pregnancy, marital status, national origins, color, sexual orientation, age, physical and mental health, disability, religious belief, ethnicity, culture, language, and birth. Information identifying a person such as educational history, financial history, criminal record, or employment history; An identifying number, symbol, email address, physical address, telephone number, location, online identifier, or another particular reference to that person. Biometric information; a person’s opinions, views, or preferences. Correspondences that are sent by the person that may be private or confidential, or correspondences that reveal the contents of the original correspondence. The views or opinions of another individual about a person, whether that information is recorded electronically or not.
The term “POPIA” refers to the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 as amended from time to time. Agility FM is referred to hereafter as “AGILITY”.
AGILITY’S website servers are protected by industry-standard security protocols. Each member manages its own customer database and has its own privacy policies. To find out about each member’s POPIA policy, please contact the dealership directly.
The AGILITY may come into contact or have access to certain classified or confidential information, for which our customers are responsible. The Pl may also be considered as private and confidential because it relates to any third parties directly or indirectly involved in the declaration. In addition, AGILITY acknowledges and agrees that we have the necessary consent to share or disclose the Pl and that the information may be valuable.
POPIA’s Regulations and Codes of Conduct will always be followed by AGILITY. The company will collect, use, and process Personal Information it receives under this statement only in a lawful manner, and only to the extent necessary to fulfill its obligations.
Physical, technological, and contractual security measures have been taken by AGILITY to protect and ensure the confidentiality of Pl that it, its employees, its service providers, or any other authorized individuals come into contact with pursuant to this declaration.
Moreover, AGILITY does not agree to disclose any PLO, as defined in POPIA, to any third party without the prior written consent of our customers, and no PLO will be transferred outside the Republic of South Africa.
